What makes this forum game/community special?
Unlike other big brother and survivor websites, game play is often ruined by large cliques and pre established alliances. This website aims to create the most realistic representation of the game we see on television possible while creating a competitive game based community for it's user base to enjoy.
How do we do this?
Each game is thoroughly planned by a Game Moderator whom before even starting the game has all their weekly challenges established and pre approved by the staff team here at bigbrothergame.boards.net once the game is approved, a thread is opened up to applicants in which applicants who wish to participate must PM the game moderator with their application - where, it is up to the Game Moderator as to who he or she chooses to select to participate.
Once the cast is selected each member will be sent a dummy account to log into with. These accounts are not meant to be used for personal use and are tied to and run by bigbrothergame.boards.net. The account you are given will be the account you use to communicate with your house guests through private messaging and the game threads. Once the game is completed, the passwords will be changed and the PM system will be cleared out and the account will be used by a different player in a different game.
This system ensures that the community remains both fair and competitive, as your fellow house guests will not know your history or whom you are merely by your handle. You may not contact any players in regards to the game you are currently playing. This is considered cheating and will have you immediately expelled from the game.
All messages MUST have the name of your moderators pro boards account in the senders line, as all communications between players must be visible to a game moderator. The new pro boards messaging system allows multiple users to communicate with each other with ease as they would on the regular boards. Simply add the players username separate by a comma into a sender line to open up dialogue between multiple players for those super alliances everyone has come to love.
Game Moderation:
For every fast game held there will be a moderator appointed by the staff team. This game moderator is responsible for creating challenges, enforcing deadlines and rules and monitoring the players over the duration of two weeks. All challenges are to be prepped and pre approved before a moderator opens and begins accept applicants for a quick game. The moderator is a everyday user, so potential delays may occur - however, generally the games will last one week and should not last any longer than two. Any issues with mods or abandoned games, will be covered by myself or the staff in stepping in to allow the game to proceed.
If you would like to be a game moderator, please contact me with your set up, details, challenges and twists. The best game moderator set ups will be chosen and if we are extremely happy with your performance, you may become a full time host.
Hosts are well respected game mods whom will get the first cracks at hosting games on bigbrothergame.boards.net
How do Big Brother quick games work?
Quick games or Fast Forward games will typically last for a duration of two weeks - however, since it is ran by human moderators it is subject to potential delays. The idea of Big Brother quick games are to experience the game of Big Brother without having to dedicate your time to longer format version of the game like the stars main feature. Secondly, the exclusivity of the bi monthly Star Games means that when you aren't at the center of attention, you'll likely be playing here fighting for spot at the big time.
So, how the hell do we fit all that action into two weeks of game play? Well, after a three day grace period that occurs AFTER the first HoH competition - every day a HoH competition is played where nominations are determined on the same day. The following day, a POV competition, veto ceremony and then a vote will occur sending one house guest home.
It may sound crazy, but here's how we do it!
Every day, a player plays their competitions and proceeds to fill out a strat sheet. In these strat sheets you are expected to fill out the following:
If I win HoH I want to nominate: You place your two nominees and in the event you win, they'll be nominated.
If I win I would like to to use the PoV on: You choose who you would like to use the POV on starting with yourself, if anyone you choose was nominated by the HoH they'll be removed if you win it. If you wish not to use the veto, then you would also state so here.
(If I won HoH and the Veto is used) I would like the backdoor: NAME HERE.
I would like to evict: Here you must list every contestant in the order you would vote to evict them with your number one being the highest.
These strat sheets and your challenges must be completed by the deadline assigned to you by your game moderator - which should always be at minimum, 24 hours.
The three grace period that occurs after the day one HoH is established is meant for you to get a jump on meeting your fellow house guests and getting in on any alliances, assuming you wouldn't rather float. Of course, you can still communicate with other house guests throughout all these cycles to ensure that it isn't you who is being targeted!

Star Games
A star game is a longer game of big brother that may operate over the span of two months. The game is the websites main attraction and the players will be high lighted on the website allowing players outside of it to observe and interact with it as they wish. As time goes on, players whom receive good recommendations from Game Mods in quick games will be eligible to participate in these Star Games.
As of now there is only one Star Game planned to be held by myself at this time based off the American Version of the show. Though, long term a second will be introduced based on the U.K version of Big Brother with more community interaction. Only one version of each game will ever run at the same time in order to get the most out of the experience.
What else?
Play at your own pace: There are no specific requirements to how often you must log in to participate as how often you participate will effect your performance in the game directly with other players and outside observers. However, you are required to play all HoH and PoV challenges within 24 hours. Long term, the rarity of the Star Games being held on bigbrothergame.boards.net should bring the best out of most users who are lucky enough to be chosen to play!
